I saw Angels & Demons today, and I'm pretty sure it was much better than The DaVinci Code. I'm only sure, because I don't remember if I saw The DaVinci Code or not, and any movie you can't remember seeing isn't an amazing movie, and it's not a horrible movie -- just a boring movie.
SO. I wouldn't have even thought about seeing this if Ewan McGregor wasn't in it. And he ended up being almost the only really good thing about it. When he wasn't on screen, I was waiting for something to giggle at or I was that annoying person whispering in the theatre, mapping out the plot before it even happened. I had all of the plausible plot twists right, there was a bunch of crap that made no sense and no one would have ever guessed because you're like why the hell did they do that, but anywayyyyy.
IT'S WORTH SEEING BECAUSE EWAN MCGREGOR DOES SOME SERIOUS ACTING. I love him so, so much, he is such a great actor omg you guys. No really.
I don't even think he's particularly hot, it's not that.
And it's not that he's a priest. And Ewan McGregor.

It isn't.



(No, honestly, his acting for what he had to work with was phenomenal. And despite the silly story, I enjoyed myself and the sets were GORGEOUS HOMG.) OTL < 3333 (the hearts are obviously coming from my butt)
